Power of Peptides
As the 4th Quarter is set to begin soon for 2026 and the year draws to a quick close, I wanted to take some time to explore the possibilities and potential power of peptides. It’s no secret that peptides are an extremely hot topic in the supplement and compounding pharmacy world not to mention those of us embracing the Longevity Movement for optimal function throughout our lifetime.
First, we should start with what are peptides? Peptides are small molecules for particular amino acids, which are building blocks of various proteins in our bodies. They have numerous functions to perform daily. A common example of a peptide would be insulin, while other peptides currently being explored may address performance & recovery, muscle growth, skin health, etc. They tend to have fancy names like GLP-1, BPC-157, Peptistrong™, GHK-Cu, or Tessamorelin. In the next few months, we will explore some of these peptides in greater depth as their potential seems like the ceiling has barely been approached to date.
