Hi Neighbor!
The other night my husband and I were watching Jeopardy together and during a commercial he told me I stank. Well not quite that blunt. He worked up to it with, donโt take this the wrong way and better coming from me than someone else. Granted of all the things that could possibly come after the lines donโt take this the wrong way, having braced myself this was pretty mild. Still I was dismayed. READ MOREโ
Be well and be kind,

The Longevity Movement Series
Mitochondrial Enhancement NAD+
Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide is a quite a mouthful for any scientist so itโs often easier to refer to it as NAD+. NAD+ has over 500 different jobs in our bodies from energy production, DNA repair, optimal cellular function, & cognition to name a few. Like most things, levels significantly decline as we age leading to mitochondrial dysfunction and fatigue. Supplementation with NAD+ products abound in todayโs market as Optimal Longevity is a target for many of us.
An ongoing debate with leading nutritional supplement manufacturers is how to best achieve this goal with a precursor molecule. Currently the 2 priority ingredients depending on which scientific board you consult and/or follow, gives us options of Nicotinamide Riboside (NR) or Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN). While NR may have the lead slightly due to more published research on efficacy and being a smaller molecule to easily enter the cell, the jury is still out on how this will all play out.
Whichever molecule you resonate or use, always be sure to use a professional or high- quality brand to ensure production, performance & results.

On Friday, June 5 at 2 PM, Penn Wynne Elementary School will also host a pep rally ahead of โAlexโs Original Lemonade Stand,โ which will be held at the school on Saturday, June 6 from 10 AM to 2:30 PM.
To prepare for the event, students at the school re-created a 22-year-old photo on the school field to honor Alexandra โAlexโ Scott, the Penn Wynne student who started what has become a powerhouse charity supporting pediatric cancer research, children fighting cancer and their families.
Alex hosted her first lemonade stand 26 years ago in her familyโs yard. She was just four years old and battling neuroblastoma, but when she raised $2,000, she told her parents she wanted to give the money to doctors to help find treatments.
By 2004, the stand had grown so popular that it moved to Penn Wynne Elementary. That year, PE teacher Anita Deasey organized a photo of students spelling out โAlexโ on the school field, captured from the roof by photographer Sharon Taffet. The photo still hangs in the school today.
โI am thrilled that the photo has been recreated 22 years later,โ Taffet said. โAlex was a very special little girl, and I feel blessed to have known her.โ
