As we ease into warmer weather with more daylight, less time is spent indoors and in front of the TV, at least for this summer-loving neighbor. Bring on the summer solstice! Main Line Meals on Wheels delivers fresh meals to homebound neighbors across our area. Each weekday, volunteers deliver two fresh meals, a warm check-in, and an important safety touchpoint to about 160 clients.
A typical delivery includes a hot meal, soup, and a bagged lunch with a sandwich, drink, fruit, and dessert. The cost is kept low at $42.50 per week, and subsidies are available for those who need help.
Main Line Meals on Wheels provides far more than food. They provide connection, care, and peace of mind. New clients are always welcome, whether for temporary support or ongoing meal delivery.
