Hi Neighbor!

As we ease into warmer weather with more daylight, less time is spent indoors and in front of the TV, at least for this summer-loving neighbor. Bring on the summer solstice! Give me more hours to weed, walk, and sip wine al fresco. Just as I settled into this summer plan, however, Netflix came along and spoiled it. They decided to release Rafa, the documentary outlining the storied career of tennis legend Rafael Nadal. And I was hooked. READ MORE

Main Line Meals on Wheels delivers fresh meals to homebound neighbors across our area. Each weekday, volunteers deliver two fresh meals, a warm check-in, and an important safety touchpoint to about 160 clients.

A typical delivery includes a hot meal, soup, and a bagged lunch with a sandwich, drink, fruit, and dessert. The cost is kept low at $42.50 per week, and subsidies are available for those who need help.

Main Line Meals on Wheels provides far more than food. They provide connection, care, and peace of mind. New clients are always welcome, whether for temporary support or ongoing meal delivery.

Check out the bluest of blue eyes in this sweet, creamy/tan Siamese mix. Elise is a 2-year-old gentle beauty. She exists peacefully with other cats and is comfortable around dogs. She uses her litterbox faithfully and will cuddle on your lap for hours. Elise is a gentle soul waiting patiently for her human soulmate. Spay and Save specializes in adoptions to Montgomery, Chester and Bucks Counties. All pets for adoption are fostered to provide additional pet training and first-hand information for adopters.

Noodle and JJ are best buddies. They’re very sweet and very bonded. Noodle the male is 88 pounds and JJ, female, 66 pounds. They are crate trained, house trained and are truly special. Rescue volunteers agree they have the sweetest temperaments. They walk nicely on a leash and enjoy being outside. Their previous owner was sadly unable to continue caring for them. But they have each other, are happy and will be adopted together. These loving seniors are in excellent health. Spay and Save specializes in adoptions to Montgomery, Chester and Bucks Counties.
