Hi Neighbor!

I have a new toy, and I am obsessed! But first, here’s the backstory:

I have resisted the Apple watch, mainly because I want to be disconnected, liberated, off-the-grid for a portion of my day. And that portion of my day, the tuning out part, is during workouts and walks. Sure, when my iPhone is on my person, it tracks some stats and data, but what about when I am playing tennis and my phone is tucked away in my bag? That was the missing the component; I was working hard but hardly getting credit for calories burned and steps taken.

Bye Bye Birdie Takes The Stage at Uptown!

Uptown’s fall theatre season begins with Bye Bye Birdie, a high-energy musical comedy filled with rock and roll, teenage excitement, and plenty of laughs.

When superstar Conrad Birdie is drafted into the Army, his managers plan one final publicity stunt: a goodbye kiss with one lucky fan on live television. Featuring favorite songs including β€œPut On a Happy Face,” β€œKids,” and β€œA Lot of Livin’ to Do,” this Broadway classic is packed with lively dance numbers, memorable characters, and nostalgic fun for all ages.
