🙄 Trader Joe’s Intimidation... on the Main Line

October 10, 2024

LOCAL STORIES, BUZZ & A CURATED EVENT ROUNDUP FOR THE 'BURBS

Hi Neighbor,

Don’t laugh, but I used to be intimidated (and slightly confused) by Trader Joe’s. I felt panicky strolling the aisles and not recognizing any brand names, and the folksy, text-heavy circulars felt like an inside joke I wasn’t a part of. I jumped every time a cashier rang the bell, and sometimes I just wanted to buy stamps or batteries for goodness’ sake. For awhile I simply smiled and played along when friends gushed about Trader Joe’s. But then my kids got older and formed opinions—STRONG opinions—about the contents of our pantry, specifically the snacks. They were tired of Goldfish and Pirate’s Booty, and honestly, I couldn’t blame them. I was bored too.

Throughout the year, Wolf PAC offers a diverse array of workshops led by our talented professional Teaching Artists, exploring unique disciplines such as puppetry, gaming, and more. Special events, like Election Day workshops and Spring Break camps, provide opportunities for community members to stay involved, even when busy schedules make it difficult to commit to a full season of classes or shows.

We are also thrilled to announce that Wolf PAC’s very own Will Connell, starring as Frankie Valli in Walnut Street Theatre’s "Jersey Boys," will be offering an exclusive workshop on November 3rd! This is a can't-miss opportunity to learn from one of our stars, directly on our stage.
