Hi Neighbor,
โ
At our house there are long expired medicines. These include over the counter as well as prescriptions from all of us, pets included, taking up real estate in our cabinet and closet. Itโs spring-cleaning time and Iโm focused on reclaiming that space. How can these be disposed of responsibly?
โ
I thought long-expired pills could be tossed in the garbage as long as plastic containers made it into recycling. Luckily, I did some research and oops, thatโs not cool. Neither is flushing them or dissolving them in the sink (which I didnโt consider), READ MOREโ

Mindful spring cleaning,

The Longevity Movement Is Here Power Trio Part 3
-By Michael Briggs
โ
As we finish our last part of the Longevity Movement Series, I couldnโt think of a better way to end this section than to talk about Collagen. As a species, we human beings need to move! Supporting joint mobility & recovery, bone health, & skin, Collagen is well suited for this role. Itโs no secret that it was our top selling product in 2024 and 2025 shapes up to have the same or better performance. So, letโs dive in a little further because there are multiple products on the market, and not all have equal efficacy.
โ
I can still hear my high school Latin teacher say "Caveat Emptor" or buyer beware, as you do get what you pay for in the Collagen Sector. It is best to use patented extracts when selecting a Collagen product as the product performance and consistency will always be there. Some examples of these extracts are Fortigelยฎ, Fortiboneยฎ & Verisolยฎ. The Bovine-derived products have shown the best results in studies with Chicken-derivatives not far behind. A simple daily dose of 10g powder mixes easily in your coffee without ruining it for those of us afficionados or blended in your favorite smoothie. So be good to yourself and your supporting cast of bones, joints & skin and you will perform more optimally than your collagen-less comrades.

โMethod Man is putting in the workโand not just emotionally. This shy little guy is busy learning that the world isnโt so scary with kind, patient people by his side. He's an adorable chihuahua mix with big feelings in a small body. His favorite place to be? Curled up on a desk, snoozing beside his person while they work. Every now and then heโll lovingly rest his head on your arm. Method Man needs a calm home with older kids, where he can keep building trust at his own pace. If youโre a human who understands that love takes timeโ one gentle step at a timeโhe just might be your perfect match.
