Rough Starts for Two Puppies
Mabeline is a gorgeous boxer mix puppy. At 8- months old, Mabeline is pure joy with people and ready for her second chance at life! She is the happiest, most wiggly little lady! She was originally brought into a shelter in Philadelphia after being found as a stray. This shelter is the only open intake shelter for the entire city and is extremely underfunded and overcrowded. Mabeline was pulled as part of Angel Retreat’s ACCT’s of Love program and was provided with medical care she desperately needed since she tested positive for Parvo and was time stamped for euthanasia. Also given a lot of healing love, Mabeline is fully recovered and ready for a home of her own!
Stella is a sweet, beautiful 9-week old Miniature Poodle/Bernese Mountain Dog surrendered from a commercial breeding facility (aka Puppy Mill) in Lancaster County. Stella is blind in one eye which doesn't slow her down at all. Adopting a puppy mill survivor is life-changing. They need patience and positive reinforcement to overcome their harsh introduction to the world. They need the gift of your love and understanding to experience the joyful exuberance of a dog’s life.
