Ok I’ll admit it; there are some days when I crave a Big Mac. I have to scarf it down fast before my brain kicks in and tells me this isn’t the best expenditure of my nutritional calories. However, on those occasions when the drive-in calls to me I queue up, place my order, proceed to the first window to pay and then to the second window to pick up. It’s at window number two where 95% of the time I want to scream. I don’t because my yen for a Big Mac at that moment usually overrides my abhorrence of bad manners but still, it bugs me no end. An ON-LINE mental health group for youth for students grades 8-12
This group will meet on Zoom every other week on Thursday nights through May 28.
The first half of this 90 minute session will consist of an open support group. The second half will consist of a presentation/discussion with a mental health professional or peer about a specific mental health skill, like positive self-talk, mindfulness and emotion regulation. Details

Come see our sheep get their annual haircuts and participate in many of the steps used to turn raw fleece into clothing including washing, carding, spinning, and dyeing! Continuing the tradition of animal husbandry, the Farmstead is home to heritage breed sheep that would have been familiar to the colonial farmers including Hog Island and Leicester Longwool.
