Now that The Residence at Bala Cynwyd has reached full occupancy, life here is buzzing with energy! More neighbors means more friendships and more laughter, and more opportunities to share experiences together.

Our calendar is filled with ways to stay active, be creative, and keep learning. Residents enjoy Tai Chi and barre balance classes, paint nights, hands-on workshops, guest lectures, chef demonstrations, and more. They also shape the calendar with their own talents, like a flower-arranging class led by a neighbor or the community Glee Club bringing music to life.

It all adds up to a dynamic environment where every day brings something new, whether you’re pursuing a favorite pastime or discovering one you never expected. Want to take part? We still have occasional openings, and you can ask about joining our wait list. Even if you’re planning for the future, now is the perfect time to explore what makes Bala Cynwyd special. Personal Care Living: Rediscover Independence!

Most seniors who live in their homes consider themselves independent: they may drive to run errands for themselves, they engage in activities outside of their home, and they’re generally self-sufficient. But there might be small things holding you back from being truly independent and living your best life. Maybe driving at night is more difficult, it might take longer to get ready to go out, or cooking dinner is more overwhelming. Personal care living offers assistance with the small tasks of daily living, empowering you to realize your true independence and to focus on the things you love.

A great personal care community, like The Residence at Bala Cynwyd, provides just the right amount of care, tailored to each individual’s needs. Residents are then able to enjoy the freedom of choice from an array of services and programs, all in an inviting, social environment. Having just the right amount of care encourages autonomy, allowing residents to pursue their hobbies, participate in activities, and make choices that reflect their personal lifestyle.

The peace of mind that comes with knowing help is always available, combined with a vibrant, supportive environment, makes your life at The Residence Bala Cynwyd fulfilling and enjoyable.

Taking a Step Towards a Cure: Fundraising for the Alzheimer’s Association

We are honored to once again join the fight against Alzheimer’s and through the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End ALZ. This cause is close to our hearts, and our team has already raised $1,700 towards our fundraising goal.

There are many ways to get involved: attend one of our fundraisers here at the community, donate to our team, or walk alongside us at the Philadelphia Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Citizens Bank Park on Saturday, November 8th.

Every step, every gift, and every show of support brings us closer to a world without Alzheimer’s. Together, we can make a difference.
