Hi Neighbor!

Mondays are for Mahjong. As in, my friendly neighbors and I play mahjong on Mondays. Well, we have been searching for the perfect day that accommodates all of our schedules for almost a year. During the winter months we tried Fridays, then in the spring it became Hit-or-Miss days, and finally in the summer, it became No-days. Now, thankfully and after much shuffling of schedules and negotiating of terms, we have decided; Mondays are for Mahjong. Read More

MainLine Neighbors Member Spotlight

Tucked into Wayne, on a stretch better known for boutiques and bakeries than bleeding-edge art, there’s a gallery doing something quietly radical.

Colonna Contemporary was built on a simple idea: that the art world doesn’t have to choose between the handmade and the high-tech. It can hold both. It can host a painting show one month and a generative art exhibition the next, and treat them with the same seriousness.

Founded by Michele Colonna, the gallery’s motto, “From Pigment to Pixel,” isn’t just branding, it’s the operating system. The space champions artists who are deeply committed to their practice, whether that looks like oil on canvas, digital compositing, or on-chain generative work. In a region where most galleries stay comfortably traditional, Colonna Contemporary is deliberately pulling the Main Line into the conversation the rest of the art world is having right now.
