Hi Neighbor!
β
What is Happiness?
β
This is Happiness, an exquisitely written book by Naill Williams, searches for meaning, finding joy and wonder in the seemingly mundane, beginning with an unheralded break in the months long rain.
β
Set in a small fictional Irish village, it is populated by interconnected townspeople. All are charming, some eccentric, easy to imagine being fully alive. Itβs the affection-filled stories of the community that brighten the mind and tug at the heart. Life is quiet and sweet, and Williams transports readers to an unhurried time, where it isnβt filled as much as savored, where there is time to be present and listen. Electricity is coming, bringing big changes to this small town, breaking its natural rhythm. ... READ MOREβ

In Memoriam
-By Michael Briggs
β
We recently lost our Founder and longtime pharmacist, Ben Briggs, who passed away peacefully at home in mid-July. For me, this loss is deeply personal β he was not only my mentor but also my Dad β and it has touched me emotionally, physically, and professionally. No word suits him better than legend, and here at Lionville Natural Pharmacy, there will always be the Legend of Ben.
β
But as the circle of life continues, so will our commitment to honor his life and legacy of healing in everything we do.
β
Ben opened our doors in 1979 in a modest 500-square-foot corner suite in a medical building. Through the β80s and β90s, the pharmacy moved to several locations. In the early β90s, he made a bold, visionary decision: to transform the traditional pharmacy model into an epicenter of integrative medical healing β the very experience you know today. Practically overnight, the cigarettes, sodas, and magazines were gone. In their place came vitamins, homeopathic remedies, and soon after, our compounding pharmacy lab, enabling us to customize each patientβs medication to their unique needs.
β
Ben was always ahead of his time. More admirable still was his fearless pursuit of any goal, ideal, or dream.
β
He will be deeply missed, but his spirit lives on in our daily mission to serve, connect, and care for our community. We are profoundly grateful for the love, support, and stories you have shared with us over the past month β and we look forward to continuing this journey toward optimal health and wellness together.
