Dare to be Extraordinary at Villa Maria Academy High School
Villa Maria is an exceptional place for young women who are eager to find their voice, ready to stretch themselves, and open to discovering God’s great plan for their lives. We’re a community that will DARE YOU TO BE EXTRAORDINARY in your own unique way.
In an all-girls setting that is caring and structured, students explore their love of learning, identify passions, and discover the meaning of true leadership as they grow into the best version of themselves. Challenged and supported by devoted faculty and a sincere sisterhood of peers, students have a welcoming space for real confidence to take root and for all of their unique strengths to emerge.
Villa’s curriculum reflects an ever-changing world, incorporating innovative classes with the traditional topics inherent to the highest-quality secondary education. Exceptional learning opportunities and coursework are provided to match the needs of every student, and college counseling seminars and a team of dedicated, highly-skilled counselors ensure an understanding of the college application and decision-making journey.
The educational experience at Villa is enhanced by a tradition of excellence in athletics and an involved, active student body. Villa offers 14 competitive and 2 club sports, 40+ clubs and activities, and cherished traditions embraced by the entire Villa community.
Students graduate from Villa Maria as empowered practitioners of the IHM charism–love, creative hope, and fidelity–and are well prepared to continue their educational journey as genuine leaders who will use their gifts and influence to help others rise
Villa Maria Students Serve with Sincerity
Modeled by the IHM Sisters, a sense of gratitude and joyful service permeates the Villa Maria Academy High School campus.
Villa students are active practitioners of the IHM charism—the Sisters’ unique gift—of love, creative hope, and fidelity. At Villa, students are encouraged to discover and use their own God-given gifts to benefit others and serve those who are marginalized, to forge a way when there seems to be none, to look beyond what appears to be. The community’s unselfish “we” mindset will help keep you grounded and empower you with purpose.
Each year Villa students complete independent service hours. The service learning approach fosters student learning while cultivating a sense of giving back through hands-on opportunities to help others in the community. In addition, Villa supports four annual drives to collect and share resources with those in need as well as student-led service projects on campus.
Campus Ministry fosters an environment of prayer and spirituality for the school community through liturgical celebrations, prayer experiences, daily Holy Communion, and retreats.
The Villa Maria community finds strength in its backbone of faith and finds unending support within our community. We embrace and encourage each student on her own unique spiritual journey – regardless of her religious background.
