🏰 Castles... on the Main Line

LOCAL STORIES, BUZZ & A CURATED EVENT ROUNDUP FOR THE 'BURBS

Hi Neighbor,

Some say their home is their castle. But Gilded Age castles nearby provide a whole new perspective on what “home” looked like to the tycoons and their families during the Gilded Age. I’m a fan of the first two seasons of HBO’s show The Gilded Age, and there’s a third season coming shortly. The costumes and settings are captivating and over the top, so imagining that time-period when visiting these former residences is especially evocative. It was an age filled with innovative architecture, art, and history from the 1870s to the early 1900s.

Beat the Heat with Rhubestryn

Menopause is a part of every woman’s life and may present in varying degrees of severity depending on family history, diet & lifestyle, environmental triggers & occupational exposure to name a few. A decline in estrogen, progesterone, & testosterone is also seen during this 5-10 year period. A growing interest in alternative approaches before Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy is pursued is gaining steady momentum.

When menopausal fires burn to severity levels akin to 4 or 5 alarm blazes, we can now look to a new extinguisher derived from nature to come to the rescue. An extract from the root of Siberian rhapontic rhubard called Rhubestryn is designed to address the many facets of menopause.

Studies conducted on the extract have shown significant reduction in hot flashes and night sweats. Additionally, Rhubestryn promotes balanced inflammatory signaling while also providing antioxidant actions. Rhubestryn functions as a selective estrogen receptor modulator by activating Erβ and not its potentially more serious cousin Erα, that has been linked to cancer. Dosing is simple at as little as once daily in upwards of 3 times daily when initially starting and is cost effective at little more than $1 per day. Not a bad investment for your hormonal health!
